Julie Chapman is the principal accountant at Evolution Accounting. She has worked in small business accounting and taxation on the Gold Coast and Tweed for over 20 years. Julie obtained her first degree from Griffith University, receiving a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Accounting and Financial Economics, and the Business Medal for highest achieving graduate. After working for several local firms and completing her CPA Studies, Julie embarked on a master’s degree in business administration obtaining an MBA also from Griffith University. The master’s education afforded Julie an in depth knowledge of business strategy and issues experienced by new and burgeoning businesses.

Later Julie completed the Professional Certificate of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds with the University of Adelaide which she was able to put to good use by adding to her own business, the administration and tax service for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Whilst the super landscape is a forever changing one, formal education in this field was invaluable.

Julie commenced Evolution Accounting in 2011 amalgamating her former business into a comprehensive accounting practice operating on the Southern Gold Coast.

Julie is the biggest champion of her clients’ businesses and builds trusting long-lasting relationships with clients who consider her an integral part of their business operation.
